For turbo M20 and M30 engines producing under 500 horsepower, whether you're using the OEM ignition coil or a wasted spark setup, our go-to spark plug is the NGK BPR7EIX (part number NGK 4055), gapped to 0.025 inches. This plug offers a removable terminal tip, making it compatible with both factory ignition wires and wasted spark configurations.
While the NGK BPR7ES was a long-time favorite on forums, we've found that the BPR7EIX provides more than double the lifespan in high-boost turbo M20 setups, making it a more reliable choice for performance builds.
